Testimonials from TEYP flexible practitioners on why working for Thanet Early Years Project suits them -
1.
Being a creche assistant and nursery bank staff has been such an incredible experience for me and fits nicely around my busy life with young children. I can give my available working hours, meaning I can still take my children to school/nursery and pick them up, and still be able to bring home a wage. Finding such flexible working patterns is very difficult and I am so pleased that I became part of the Thanet Early Years creche team, and that’s what we are, a team. Not only in the creches but within the nurseries, everyone is so welcoming and it’s lovely to be involved with the community. Being able to support so many children and maintain my home life is honestly a blessing!
2.
It has been a real pleasure to cover staff absences at the TEYP nurseries. The general policies, procedures and high expectations are common to all, although premises differ and routines and activities reflect the needs of the children. The management and practitioners are very supportive and you really feel part of the team as children get to know you. Being able to offer the hours that suit you, but offer more if things change, is also a bonus.
3.
I have worked at Thanet Early Years for 11 years. I enjoy working with the staff and the children, at the creches and nurseries, in the thanet area. The staff throughout offer positive support. My abilities and childcare experience continue to grow working as a team, with strong professionals at TEYP.
