We regret to announce that after careful consideration and thorough deliberation, the board of trustees has made the difficult decision to close TEYP’s creche service effective March 28th, 2024. This decision was not taken lightly, but rather as a response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite our best efforts to adapt and provide essential services, the creche has experienced a significant decline in bookings. Regrettably, there has been insufficient demand from parents for in-person courses that would require the use of the creche facilities. The limited bookings we have received are unfortunately not enough to sustain the service economically.
We understand that this news may be disappointing to many within our community, and we want to assure you that this decision was made with the long-term sustainability of TEYP in mind. While we recognise the value the creche service has provided to families in the past, we must now focus our resources where they are most needed and where demand is highest.
